the age of sin and aftermath

TOPIC: THE AGE OF SIN AND AFTERMATH.

TEXT: EPH 2:1-8, 5:6-7, PR 30:11-14, 2THESS 2:1-END, ISA 33:14, MATT 24:12.

Introduction: Every Devine message in this generation is supposed to be termed urgent. Why? This is the age that people wallows in sin and never gets to know that sin is the best enemy of man but poses as friend. We look at sin as if it is not a big deal. Surely this age is the age of man of sin as stated in the Bible 2 Thess 2:3-7, 1Jn 2:18, 4:3, 2Jn 1:7. Christian who claimed he would to raptured with Jesus Christ must beware of this present age. We must take it to heart that every actions and deeds that is contrary to the scripture is sin (1Jn 3:4, 5:17) and attract the wrath of God Eph.5:6 Col 3:6. For every sin committed either by one or many people, there is a hot judgment for it. Heb.2:1-3, Isa 33:1. This judgment is the aftermath of the sin committed. Now, the definition of the key words:- 1) Age is the duration of someone, something, specific time in life. 2) Aftermath is the outcome of actions, deeds, event, Pr.23:18(nkjv, asv) Lk 16:25. A visit to many churches and many of the so called worship centres today might introduce you into unexpected abominable practices. Matt 24:14. God will surely save His people. Amen! If this is the Age of sin, then the Aftermath is God’s Holy judgment.

1.      How The Bible Foretell of This Age. Matt 24, 1tim 4, 2tim 3, 4.

Ø  Christian love will go cold.

Ø  Celebration of abominations

Ø  Pride (quest for position and power).

Ø  Fallen standard of genuine faith

Ø  Presence of fake prophets to deceive many people in Christian gatherings.

Ø  Fake prophet everywhere.

Ø  Love to do evil.

Ø  Sound doctrine uprooted. 1Tim 4:1.

Ø  Godliness will not be found among those that profess it.

Ø  The love of money, self e t c.

Ø  Some would declare that they are god.

Ø  There would be war against the truth.

Ø  Adapting to Foreign apparel. Zeph 1:8.

2.      Our Age Is Controlled by That Man of Sin 1thess 2:1-3, Dan 7:24-26 1Jn 2:18 Rev 13:1118. Evidence?

1. Blood everywhere Nah 3:1.
2. Killing of fellow man like animal. Jn 16:2
3. Crying for peace by leaders of all Nation.
4. Policies and laws that forbid Christian practice in many nation of the world.
5. Encouragement of sin and worldliness in churches today.
6. War and battles between nations.
7. Crime everywhere every day.
8. There is no one to trust any longer.
9. The fear of the Lord is diminishing.
10. Signs of animal on many product, household, foods, cars. Etc. Rom 1:23. (a kind of initiation)
11. Buying and selling with credit cards and cashless policy worldwide. (a process to make way for the program of the Anti-Christ)
12. Homosexuality and lesbianism been approved by governments and many churches worldwide.
13. The nations are working hard on one world government. (aim to be achieved for the anti-Christ)

3.      Abomination in Our Generation Matt 24:15, Dan 9:27.

1. Women walking half naked or even naked in public places.
2. Ritual killing everywhere.
3. Men that hate God are in position of power.
4. Many are they that preach fake doctrines.
5. Pornographic pictures and porn movies are being posted as advert even on Christian websites.
6. Promoting sex: every advert usually come with a bit of sex promotion.
7. Abuse of marriage institution. Is 4:1, Heb 13:4.
8. Unrighteousness everywhere.
9. Worldliness in holy place of worship.
10. Wickedness in high places.
11. Many are calling themselves God and demand to be worship
12. Fake miracles to deceive many
13. Christians are no longer preparing for the coming of the Lord.

4. Its Effect On Our Generation.

1)      Churches are becoming war zones 1 Cor. 3:1

2)      Spiritual death in churches. Rev 3:1, Eph. 2:1b.

3)      No more fire in the messages we preach. Jer. 20:9

4)      Love of money even in our churches, or can we rather say we preach money instead of the Gospel of Jesus. 1Tim 6:6-10.

5)      Many souls were been lost every day.

6)      The presence of daughters of Jezebel on God’s holy altar. Rev 3:20.

7)      Competition between churches on how to beautify the interior and the exterior of the church premises when souls are on the race to hell, 1Cor 3:4.

8)      Soul winning is becoming an odd Job because we are doing what unbelievers are doing.

9)      The taken over of the kingdom of darkness. Is 60:2

5.      God’s Judgment On This Generation.

It has been written that God shall destroy the man of sin with the breath of His mouth 2Thes. 2:8

ü  God’s wrath is on this generation.

ü  Wars, famine, and others that would show the anger of God would be everywhere.

ü  Sickness and diseases. Incurable diseases in spite of qualified medical personnel.

ü  Confusion in governments

ü  The Lord God will judge this age with fire including the inhabitants of the sinful nations. 2peter 3:9-12. Rev 21:15.

6.      If You Desire to Rapture with Christ kindly observe the followings:

1. Stop the practice of the deeds of this age. Rev 2:6,14,15.
2. Be temperate in many things.
3. You cannot use every product you see. Many of these product are meant to give people the sign of the beast without their consent.
4. Put oil in your lamp and go for extra oil for the time range. Matt 25:1
5. Rekindle the fire of love. Rev 2:4-5.
6. Do the work of an evangelist.
7. Pray for God’s mercy.
8. Be Holy Isa. 35:8, Heb. 12:14.
9. Avoid evil communication.
10. Be careful with the work you are doing for the Lord. Do it faithfully and sincerely. It shall be tested with fire. 1Cor. 3:10-12.
11. Invest in heaven for you are going to live in it forever.

Conclusion: Many would regret their actions and deeds on earth when they get to hell. Man will pray for a second chance but there would be none given to him. LK 16:19-31. Let it be known to you today that every ideal of this world would leads someone into hell. If you are one of those Christian that will say “aye lama se ka to sorun” I will enjoy today, I don’t know what tomorrow holds. Please repent, if not, you are travelling on a highway that leads hell. Matt 7:13, Lk13:24, some revelation from hell notify us that many in hell don’t want their loved ones to join them in hell. Please prepare for rapture.
